MACON, GA- After securing their eighth consecutive victory against the Fayetteville FireAntz on Friday night, the Macon Mayhem will now return home to the Macon Coliseum for two games this weekend.

WEEKEND RECAP

The Mayhem played just one game this past weekend, and they were able to skate away with another victory. The team travelled to Fayetteville, NC on Friday night to face the Fayetteville FireAntz for the first time this season, and they were able to secure a 5-3 victory. After Fayetteville opened the scoring in the first period, the Mayhem then scored four unanswered goals, culminating with a 4-1 lead early in the third period. The Macon goals were scored by Mark Rivera, John Siemer, Daniel Echeverri, and then Siemer again. The FireAntz would answer, as Joe Kalisz scored his second goal of the game to make it 4-2. Macon newcomer Ryan Salkeld scored his first goal with the team to make it a 5-2 game, and then Fayetteville forward Daniel Vernace scored to make it a 5-3 game. Jordan Ruby would hold that lead for the rest of the game to secure the eight straight win for the Mayhem.

The Mayhem now sit at 9-1-1 and in first place with 19 points. After a four-point game on Friday, Siemer extended his league-leading point total to 16, as he now has seven goals and nine assists. Collin MacDonald added an assist to his total, and he now sits in fourth in the league with 11 points. After making 26 saves on 29 shots, Jordan Ruby is now 4-0-0 on the season with a league-leading goals against average (GAA) of 1.99 and a league-leading save percentage (SV%) of .938.

OUT IN THE COMMUNITY

The Mayhem will be out in the community to help out during Thanksgiving week and the holiday season.

Tuesday, November 22 (2:00-5:00 PM): Jordan Ruby, Matt Johnson, Chris Joseph, Stathis Soumelidis, Ryan Michel, and Daniel Sobotka will be at the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank helping pack Thanksgiving boxes for low income families. The players will pack the boxes and then help load the boxes onto the distribution truck. The Middle Georgia Community Food Bank is located at 4490 Ocmulgee E Blvd, Macon, GA 31217.

Wednesday, November 23 (3:30 PM): Jordan Ruby, Garrett Bartus, John Siemer, Matt Johnson, Daniel Echeverri, Vadim Guskov, and Daniel Sobotka will be at the Macon-Bibb Animal Shelter to spend time with the animals and to help out at the shelter. The Macon-Bibb Animal Shelter is located at 4214 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, GA, 31216.

WEEKEND PREVIEW

After four consecutive road games, the Mayhem will return to the Macon Coliseum this weekend for games against the Fayetteville FireAntz on Friday night and the Columbus Cottonmouths on Saturday night. Puck drop for both games will be at 7:35 PM.

For Friday night's game, the team will run a special ticket offer. On Tuesday, November 22, the team will offer a $10 ticket from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM only, excluding glass seats. The public will only be able to get the discount during those hours and through the Macon Mayhem Front Office. To get the offer, the public will be able to stop by the office or call in a (478) 803-1592.

On Saturday night, the Macon Coliseum concession stands will be offering $2 beers and $2 hot dogs.

The FireAntz are coming off a weekend where they went 1-1, including Friday's 5-3 loss to Macon. On Sunday, they defeated the Evansville Thunderbolts 4-0. Tayler Thompson leads the team with 11 points, and the team traded for Adam Stuart from Knoxville, who has eight points in six games this season. Fayetteville now sits at 4-6-0 on the season.

The Mayhem will then face off against the Columbus Cottonmouths on Saturday night. The Cottonmouths are 4-5-0 on the season, and went 0-1 this last weekend. They lost to the Mississippi RiverKings 2-1 on Saturday night. Forward Riley Spraggs leads the team with nine points in nine games. In net, Brandon Jaeger has played six of the team's nine games, and he is 2-4 with a 2.85 GAA and a .925 SV%. Lukas Hafner has played three games and is 2-1 with a GAA of 1.34 and a SV% of .956.

The Macon Mayhem return home on Friday, November 25th against the Fayetteville FireAntz and Saturday, November 26th against the Columbus Cottonmouths.
