April 17, 2019 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Green Bay Blizzard News Release
In the rematch of the rematch, the Green Bay Blizzard travel to Grand Island Nebraska for the third game against the Danger on Saturday night. Kickoff is at 7:05PM CDT.
The Blizzard defeated the Danger last Saturday night in Green Bay by the score of 60 to 50. Blizzard quarterback Lenorris Footman backed up his throwing performance the week before against the Quad City Steamwheelers by taking to the ground last Saturday. Lenorris rushed for 118 yards and 4 touchdowns including a strong 32-yard run in third quarter.
Danger quarterback, Tommy Armstrong, who had led the league's best rushing team, changed tactics last week and showcased his throwing ability. Tommy threw for 187 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Danger were held to only 37 total yards rushing for the entire game.
It remains to be seen which one of the teams will show up on Saturday night. With the average margin of victory by Green Bay in the first 2 meetings being only 7 points, it should be a close game.
Green bay holds the 4th spot in the IFL standings at 5 and 2. The Blizzard are one half game behind third place Sioux Falls. Nebraska currently sits in 6th place with a 3 and 4 record. The Danger are one-half game ahead of Quad City and are one-half game behind Tucson for 5th place.
The Blizzard will host a viewing party for the Game Saturday's game at Replay's Sports Bar and Grill on Fort Howard Avenue in De Pere. There will be food and drink specials for the game.
