Wave offers "March Madness" ticket special

February 20, 2007 - Major Indoor Soccer League 2 (MISL 2)
Milwaukee Wave News Release

MILWAUKEE, WI (Feb. 20, 2007) - March Madness is a sports fan's favorite time of year - unless, of course, a couple of uppity No. 13 seeds send their bracket right into the trash before sundown on Thursday.

The Milwaukee Wave has the perfect antidote for March Sadness: a chance to win a vacation for four to Orlando, courtesy of Midwest Vacations.

Just get a group of 25 or more to attend one of four Sunday home games during March to enter in the contest. That's all. There's nothing a No. 13 seed can do about it.

The Wave's "Kicks for Tix" contest takes place March 25, when the Wave hosts the Philadelphia KiXX on Fan Appreciation Day. Kickoff is at 1:05 p.m. Any group of 25 or more to purchase tickets to any March home game gets the following:

One free ticket to the March 25 game, and

One entry into the "Kicks for Tix" contest.

The opportunity to purchase additional tickets for March 25 at $10 each.

On the 25th, fans entered in the contest will take shots into an open net, moving steadily backward with each successful shot. The fan who converts a shot from the farthest away at halftime of the game wins the vacation prize. You'll get four round-trip airline tickets from Milwaukee to Orlando and two nights of accommodations at one of three Universal Studios Orlando one-site hotels.

Take advantage of this fantastic offer for the following Wave games:

March 4 vs. Detroit, 1 p.m.

March 11 vs. Philadelphia, 1 p.m.

March 18 vs. Baltimore, 1 p.m.

March 25 vs. Philadelphia, 1 p.m.

Call the Wave ticket office at (414) 224-9283 to get your group to the game and claim the coveted spot in the "Kicks for Tix" shootout.
