MISL, VERSUS Partner to Deliver Nationally Televised Game of the Week
February 20, 2007 - Major Indoor Soccer League 2 (MISL 2) News Release
(WESTPORT, and Stamford, CONN., February 20, 2007) - The Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) and VERSUS, the network that celebrates real competition in all its forms, today announced a partnership to deliver a nationally televised game of the week. The competitive action of the preeminent professional indoor soccer league in North America begins on VERSUS Saturday, March 24 at 5 p.m. ET with a match-up between Baltimore and Philadelphia.
The schedule for the 2006-07 campaign includes two regular season games, an MISL Championship Series Semifinal game on April 14, and the MISL Championship Series Final on April 21. Additionally, the MISL will produce its first-ever live magazine show on April 7, designed to preview the 2007 MISL Championship Series.
