Milwaukee Wave News Release

MILWAUKEE (Jan. 23, 2008) -- Steve Nash, a two-time National Basketball Association Most Valuable Player, and Phoenix Suns teammate Amare Stoudemire added their signatures to the Milwaukee Wave of Kindness Harley-Davidson on Tuesday night.

Wave forward Giuliano Oliviero is an acquaintance of Nash, and he brought the bike's custom-painted gas tank to be signed following the Suns' game with the Bucks at the Bradley Center.

Raffle tickets to win the bike are $5 for six tickets or $1 each, and can be purchased at www.milwaukeewave.com or at any Wave game. Proceeds benefit Wave of Kindness, which is the charity arm of the Milwaukee Wave dedicated to developing soccer among low-income and inner-city youth. The bike will be awarded on April 26 at the MISL Championship Game in Milwaukee.

Nash is a five-time All-Star who won the NBA's MVP award in 2005-06 and 2006-07. Stoudemire was the 2002-03 NBA Rookie of the Year and, at 25, is already a two-time All-Star.

Their signatures join those of Pele, Ryan Braun, Bonnie Blair, Fuzzy Thurston and others on this custom-painted 2008 Sportster XL 883. See the bike at every Wave home game, including this Sunday's 2 p.m. contest against Chicago. Other public appearances will be announced as they are confirmed.

Suburban Motors of Thiensville is the Wave's partner on this project.
