Wave Announces Dates of 2004 Indoor/Outdoor Combine

(Milwaukee, WI) The Milwaukee Wave, the only soccer organization in North America that competes professionally both indoors and outdoors has announced dates for its upcoming player tryout/combine. Candidates attending the combine will have the chance to audition for both the Wave indoor (Major Indoor Soccer League) and Wave United outdoor (A-League) coaching staffs.

"We receive resumes on a daily basis from soccer prospects around the world," said Wave United Head Coach Art Kramer. "This combine enables players an opportunity to showcase their skills and potentially earn a contract with the Wave organization."

When: Monday, April 5th - Friday, April 9th

Where: Uihlein Soccer Park, the official training center of the Milwaukee Wave, 7101 West Good Hope Road, Milwaukee, WI 53223.

Fee: $125 per player. The Milwaukee Wave will reimburse the Combine Fee for any player who receives and signs a contract to play the 2004 season.

Hotels: The Milwaukee Wave has preferred rates at various hotels in the area. Call Bryan Koch at 414-224-9283 for more information.

Format: 11 v. 11 outdoor soccer games from 9:00 AM –11:30 AM and 6 v. 6 indoor soccer games from 2:00 PM- 4:30 PM.

Cut: There will be a cut on Wednesday, April 7th at the conclusion of the indoor games. Any player cut is welcome to stay through Friday, April 9th but cannot train.
