Wave and Froedtert team up for Workout with the Wave this Saturday

(Milwaukee, WI) Young athletes will get an opportunity to "workout with the pros" prior to this Saturday's Wave game at U.S. Cellular Arena when the Wave and Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Medicine Center present "Workout with the Wave" beginning at 4:30 PM.

The first 300 kids who enter the arena with a ticket for Saturday's game (Wave v. Chicago Storm at 6:05 PM) will be allowed on the field to participate in the workout, led by selected Wave players and athletic trainers from the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Medicine Center, the official sports medicine center of the Milwaukee Wave. The participants will learn proper techniques for stretching and other workout procedures utilized by the Wave. It's a fun-filled event that's sure to educate all young athletes regarding the importance of a structured work-out routine

Saturday is also the annual "Toys for Tots Teddy Bear Toss," sponsored by WMIL (106.1 FM), with all fans encouraged to bring new stuffed animals to toss on the field after the Wave scores its first goal. The stuffed animals will be collected and donated to Toys for Tots.

Tickets for all Wave home games ($20, $16, $14, and $12) are available at the Wisconsin Center District (WCD) Box Office, located between U.S. Cellular Arena and the Milwaukee Theater at 510 W.
