Washington Spirit News Release
Washington, D.C. - The Washington Spirit announced today that three of its home matches will broadcast on national television via CBS and CBS Sports Network, and all other matches will stream on Paramount+ this season.
The first nationally-televised Spirit match will air on CBS on Saturday, May 6 in a rematch of last year's nationally-broadcast game in which the Spirit defeated San Diego Wave FC in a thrilling 4-3 result. CBS Sports Network will air the Wednesday, May 10 UKG NWSL Challenge Cup match-up against the Orlando Pride and the Sunday, September 3 match against the Chicago Red Stars. All three of Washington's nationally televised matches will take place at Audi Field.
The Spirit's remaining 25 regular season and UKG NWSL Challenge Cup matches will stream exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States. NWSL matches will also be televised on TSN in Canada in 2023. Three Spirit road matches will broadcast in Canada via TSN Linear and TSN+ in 2023.
