Houston Dash News Release
The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) today announced the full television and streaming schedule for the 2023 season, which includes four nationally televised games for the Houston Dash on CBS Sports Network. Paramount+ will stream all Dash matches. Additionally, 19 Dash matches will be featured on recently announced Canadian sports broadcasting partner TSN.
The Dash will be featured on CBS Sports Network four times in 2023 beginning with an away match against reigning NWSL Champions, Portland Thorns FC, at Providence Park at 9:30pm CT on April 14. Additional CBSSN matches include two home regular season nationally broadcast matches, the first on April 19 against Kansas City Current, and the season home finale on October 8 against Angel City FC. The fourth CBSSN match is on October 1 when the Dash face NY/NJ Gotham FC at Red Bull Arena.
All 2023 regular season and Challenge Cup matches will be streamed live internationally for free on NWSLSoccer.com. Match replays, highlights and additional NWSL produced content will also be available on NWSLSoccer.com. Additional international distribution information will be released prior to season kickoff.
Last week, the NWSL announced a partnership with Canadian sports broadcaster TSN to distribute NWSL matches, including the 2023 NWSL Championship, across its network in Canada this season. Live match coverage will air in English across TSN. TSN coverage for the Dash in Canada will include a total 19 matches, kicking off on April 14 against the Portland Thorns at Providence Park featuring Dash Canadian talents Allysha Chapman, Devon Kerr, Nichelle Prince and Sophie Schmidt. TSN will also air both semifinal matches of the 2023 NWSL playoffs as well as the 2023 NWSL Championship.
Local broadcast information and talent will be announced in the coming week ahead of the regular season opener on March 26 when the Dash host Racing Louisville FC on Sunday, March 26 at the newly renovated Shell Energy Stadium.
