
Washington Spirit Announce Continuation of MedStar Health Partnership

Boyds, Md. - The Washington Spirit will continue its partnership with MedStar Health to ensure players are in tip-top shape and performing their competitive best through the 2019 season.
Under this partnership, MedStar Health is designated as the Official Medical Team of the Washington Spirit and is providing a suite of medical services to Spirit players...to Spirit players, including team physician game coverage, sports medicine and orthopaedic services, and all player physicals and lab work.
Spirit Majority Owner Steve Baldwin had this to say on the partnership: "MedStar Health is a premier partner for our club and we are delighted this relationship has been extended through the 2019 season." Baldwin continued, "Dr. Justin Mullner, Dr. Erika Williams, and the entire MedStar Health team provide our players with world-class care. This support contributes to our on-field success and I'm thankful for the work they provide our club."
Sean Huffman, Vice President of Sports Medicine for MedStar Health, said: "Our organization is dedicated to providing the highest quality care for people in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington." Huffman also said, "We are proud to support the Washington Spirit and include them among the other professional sports teams we support in our area."
