
Washington, Rainwater Named Players Of The Week

DURHAM, NC - - The official statistician of the American Association, Pointstreak, has selected Kansas City T-Bones 3B Rico Washington and Grand Prairie AirHogs RHP Josh Rainwater as the Pointstreak Batter and Pitcher of the Week.
Washington batted .471 in the opening four game series with El Paso. In 17 at-bats, the Surprise, AZ resident collected eight hits, including four extra base hits and scored six runs. Washington also collected 11 RBIs, slugged .765 and had an on-base percentage of .550.
Rainwater tossed seven shutout innings against Gary SouthShore on Saturday. In the 2-1 win, the DeRidder, LA resident allowed only three hits and fanned five batters.
