Washington Mystics To Host PGA Play Golf America Fan Experience

Washington, D.C. - The WNBA's Washington Mystics are teaming up with The PGA of America for a fun-filled evening of free golf activities during its PGA Play Golf America Fan Experience June 24 (Tuesday).

PGA Professionals from the Middle Atlantic PGA Section will give free, 10-minute lessons from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. on the main concourse of the Verizon Center. Three lucky contestants who participate in pre-game festivities will have the opportunity to win prizes from the Middle Atlantic PGA Section during halftime.

"The WNBA inspires women to become involved in athletics and the Middle Atlantic PGA Section encourages those same women to explore the rewarding game of golf at facilities in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia," said Bob Heintz, Junior Golf Director for the Middle Atlantic PGA Section.
