Winston-Salem, NC â The Winston-Salem Warthogs (22-17) game with Lynchburg was rained out on Thursday due to rain in the Forsyth County area. The game will not be made up. The Warthogs finished 3-2 in the five game series with Lynchburg. The Warthogs are two games in front of Kinston for first place in the Carolina League's northern division. Kinston and the Warthogs will begin a three game series at Ernie Shore Field on Friday. Game time is set for 7:15pm. RHP Mariano Gomez will pitch for the K-Tribe, while the Warthogs will throw LHP Ryan Wing. Lynchburg continues its road trip to Frederick this weekend. All the play by play will be heard on 600/1200am WSJS.
