Warriors welcome new Director of Community Relations

The Moose Jaw Warriors are very excited to announce the hiring of Marnel Rasmussen to the position of Director of Community Relations. Marnel is a graduate of SIAST Palliser Campus, obtaining a diploma in Business with Administrations Specialty, as well as Marketing. Marnel has an athletic background, being heavily involved in figure skating during the past 12 years. She currently is a member of the 2010 Moose Jaw Winter Games Sponsorship Committee holding the position as Sponsorship Coordinator.

"Marnel joins us with an understanding of our organization already. She was a member of the Warriors Extreme Team and assisted at our home games in the 2008/09 season. She has a strong working relationship with our current staff, and will be a great asset to our organization." comments General Manger Chad Lang. "Her outgoing personality along with her excellent interpersonal skills, exceptional organization skills and her education background, makes her a perfect fit for our organization." he added. "The addition of Marnel to our team will enable us to take our relationships and involvement within the community and surrounding areas to the next level".

Marnel's first day of employment with the organization will be Monday May 4th, 2009.
