Warriors rally from 2-goal deficit to defeat Soo Eagles 4-2

Zack Szajner wrapped two goals around a Colin Larkin goal, in the 3rdPeriod to give the Michigan Warriors a come-from behind victory over the Soo Eagles at Perani Arena.

The Eagles got on the board first with goals by Mike Sabatini (6) and Sandis Zolmanis (1) in the 2nd Period after a scoreless 1st. A.J. Marcinek got the Warriors on the scoreboard with his 3rd goal of the season, before Szajner (3,4) netted his two goals on the night with Larkin (8) also scoring for Michigan.

Dillon Kelley stopped 22 shots to pick up his 6th victory on the season for Michigan, while Paige Skoog made 36 saves in a losing effort for the Eagles.

The Eagles and Warriors meet again Saturday night November 16, at 7:00 for the 2nd game of this 2-game weekend series at Perani Arena and Event Center.
