Moose Jaw Warriors News Release
Moose Jaw, SK. ---The Moose Jaw Warriors are proud to announce the extension of Director of Scouting and Player Development Rob MacLachlan's contract with the team. Rob has signed for 2 years plus an option year, which will see MacLachlan through to the 2013 season.
Rob has been with the tribe for 5 seasons and in that time has helped secure 5 years of highly touted draft crops. Rob's eye for potential talent has helped draft players such as Travis Hamonic, Quinton Howden and Morgan Rielly.
"Rob has done an excellent job in leading our scouting staff in the last few years and is deserving of an extension. Rob has done a great job in assessing talent and drafting," said Jeff Truitt, Director of Hockey Operations. "I've really enjoyed working with Rob and look forward to continuing our relationship," he added.
Rob is currently working with the Hockey Operations staff to prepare for the upcoming August Camp. Rob looks forward to working with the club as they move forward into a new facility and a new era of Warriors hockey.
