Walleye Acquire Rob Nolan from Chicago

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that the team has acquired goaltender Rob Nolan from the Chicago Express for future considerations. In a separate move, the team has released forward Marc Norrington.

Nolan, a native of Sherwood Park, Alberta, joins Toledo after appearing in 16 games with the Express this year. Rob posted a 6-8-1 record with Chicago, a 2.99 goals against average and a .896 save percentage. Last year, Rob was named CHL Goaltender of the Year while with Missouri. Nolan's 2.07 GAA was the best in the Central League and he won 26 games last season.

Rob made his professional debut in 2009 with the Flint Generals in the IHL where he went 19-22-4. Prior to his professional career, Rob appeared in 80 games with Michigan Tech (WCHA). Nolan won only 15 games, but posted a goals against average under 3.00 in two of those seasons.
