PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Blue Wahoos got a boost in the bullpen with the addition of RHP Brooks Pinckard who has been promoted to Pensacola from the Bakersfield Blaze. Pinckerd was 3-0 with a microscopic 0.66 ERA over 13.2 innings. He allowed just one earned run with eight strikeouts and only three walks over his first seven outings with the Blaze.
He was drafted by the Reds in the 10th round of the 2011 draft out of Baylor.
In a corresponding move, Sean Black has been transferred back to Bakersfield. He allowed nine runs over five outings with the Blue Wahoos this season.
