Wade Miley Assigned to Shuckers on Rehab

CHATTANOOGA, TN - LHP Wade Miley has been assigned to the Biloxi Shuckers for a rehabilitation assignment. Miley will join the Shuckers' rotation and start on Friday night against the Chattanooga Lookouts. This is his second stint with Biloxi this season.

The left-hander was signed by the Milwaukee Brewers on a minor league contract in February. After suffering an injury during Spring Training, he reported to the Shuckers and made three starts in late April, going 1-1 with a 3.09 ERA. The eight-year MLB veteran is slat?ed to make multiple appearances with the Shuckers in an effort to return to the majors after suffering an oblique strain in early May.

The Shuckers continue a six-game series in Chattanooga against the Lookouts. First pitch for game two tonight is 6:15 PM CT. The game can be heard locally on Cruisin' WCGM 1240 AM/ FM 100.9 and online on TuneIn Radio or the MiLB First Pitch App.
