GF BLANKS BILLINGS

The Voyagers collected their league-leading fourth shutout Saturday night, blanking the Mustangs 6-0. A start after giving up six runs to Idaho Falls, Dane Stone scattered just three hits while striking out four over seven innings. Behind him, Jace Fry and Devon Davis each worked perfect frames to complete the shutout. The game was scoreless until the fifth when Zach Fish hit his first pro homer to make it 1-0. Dillon Haupt homered for the second straight game in the seventh and later added an RBI double. Zach Fisher also drove in two, pushing his team-leading total to 33.

MASON'S MASHING

Outfielder Mason Robbins extended his hitting streak to ten games last night, going 1-5 with a fourth inning single. A 25th round selection by the White Sox this year, Robbins is 20-43 (.465) during this stretch with three home runs, seven RBIs, ten runs scored, and six multi-hit efforts.

STONE-ING THE 'STANGS

One start after surrendering six runs on a career-high 11 hits to Idaho Falls, Dane Stone bounced back in a big way last night, shutting Billings out over seven while giving up just three hits. The outing gave the Miami, Fla., native a tie for the team lead in quality starts with Chris Freudenberg, who has also dealt five quality starts in eight outings. Stone's seven scoreless innings lowered his ERA to 2.08, the best in the Pioneer League, and put him at the top of the league in terms of innings pitched this year, having dealt 47.2 frames so far through his eight starts for the Voyagers.

GONE FISHIN'

Last night, outfielder Zach Fish went deep for the first time in his pro career, breaking a 0-0 tie with an opposite field shot off Luke Moran in the fifth. The former Oklahoma State Cowboy also tied a career-high with three hits in the contest, the second three-hit effort he's had in his last four games.
