
Voucher for Jersey, Free Ticket to Upcoming Game for First 1,000 Fans 12 and Under

MOLINE, Ill. (March 2, 2013) - The Quad City Mallards announced today that, due to a manufacturer's error, the Mallards' youth jersey giveaway scheduled for tomorrow's game between the Mallards and Fort Worth Brahmas at the i wireless Center has been altered and that the first 1,000 fans ages 12 and under arriving for tomorrow's game will receive a voucher that can be redeemed for a Mallards YMCA youth jersey when those jerseys arrive at a later date. The Mallards additionally will provide the first 1,000 children 12 and under through the doors for tomorrow's contest- which faces off at 4:05 p.m.- with a voucher good for a free ticket to any remaining Mallards regular season home game.
The Mallards further announced that the team has added a second YMCA jersey giveaway for Fan Appreciation Day- the Mallards' Sunday, March 24 regular season finale against Bloomington. The first 1,000 fans over age 12 attending that game- which also starts at 4:05 p.m.- will receive free extra large Mallards jerseys.
Fan Appreciation Day will also see one lucky fan win a free refrigerator courtesy of American Appliances Electronics Furniture. The Mallards will also give away a host of other prizes at the March 24 game to thank the fans of the Quad Cities for their support.
Tomorrow is also a Mallards Family Skate Day presented by Genesis Health Systems- fans can bring their skates and join the Mallards on the ice after the game. Following the game, fans will also have the chance to join the Mallards at Rascals- located at 1414 15th Street in Moline- for a special post-game event.
Tickets for tomorrow's tilt- as well as seats for all remaining Mallards regular season home games- can be purchased at Ticketmaster outlets, through www.ticketmaster.com or through Ticketmaster charge-by- phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000. The ticket office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the second period.
