Central Hockey League Announces Suspensions

March 2, 2013 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release


GLENDALE, AZ (March 2, 2013) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Bloomington Blaze forward Kyle Bochek and Denver Cutthroats defenseman Adam Smyth have each been suspended multiple games for infractions committed in their respective games on Friday, March 1.

Bochek has been suspended five (5) games for his Match Penalty in the Blaze's 1-0 loss to Fort Worth on Friday night. Bochek was penalized for a late, avoidable hit that caused injury and as a consequence will not be eligible to return to the line-up until Friday, March 15.

Smyth has been suspended two (2) games for his Kneeing Major Penalty in Friday's 4-2 loss to Tulsa. Smyth will miss Denver's games tonight (March 2) versus Tulsa and Tuesday (March 5) versus Rapid City.
