Collecting 20 hits the Calgary Vipers (43-24) defeated the Lake County Fielders (27-34) 14-5 at Fielders Stadium in Zion, Illinois. With the win the Vipers increase their lead atop the North Division to four games.
The Vipers continue this series in Illinois against the Lake County Fielders on Sunday August 7th with a double-header starting at 4:00 PM MDT.
The Vipers return home to Calgary and Foothills Stadium on Friday August 12th at 6:30 to take on the Chico Outlaws.
