MCALLEN, TEXAS - The NBA Development League Champion Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today they are hosting three Jr. Vipers basketball camps for boys and girls ages 8-through-18 in June, presented by Kidiatric Therapy Services, the Summit Sports Club, and Academy Sports + Outdoors.
Registration forms are available online at rgvipers.com and at the Vipers Pro-Shop (4500 N. 10th St. in McAllen).
Each camp will last five days, beginning on June 7, 14 and 21 at the Summit Sports Club in Pharr (1500 West Hall Acres Rd), which is also the Vipers' practice facility. The cost is $125 per participant, including lunch, a t-shirt, a voucher for two tickets to a 2010-11 Vipers home game, a photograph with Fang, presented by Kidiatric Therapy Services, a Jr. Vipers basketball, and a certificate of completion.
The camp is run by Vipers assistant coach Jai Steadman and will have limited enrollment to ensure each camper receives personal attention. All campers are grouped by age and ability. Campers ages 8-through-12 may be selected as honorary ball kids during the 2010-11 Vipers season.
