MCALLEN, TEXAS - The defending NBA Development League champion Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced Friday that they will taking part in the Paint McAllen Beautiful Project on Saturday by painting a house at 707 Kennedy Avenue in McAllen from 9:00 a.m-to-12:00 p.m.
The entire Vipers roster will be participating in this event.
The Vipers have already taken part in more community events this season than last season, when they led the league with 163 appearances. The Vipers are on pace to make more than 200 community appearances this season.
"[Vipers Director of Community Relations] Liana [Cisneros] does a great job of keeping us involved in the community. We think the most important thing we do here is give back to those who have given so much to us. We truly believe that the residents of the Rio Grande Valley are not just our fans, but our friends and family as well," Vipers President Bert Garcia said.
