
Vipers Alum Taylor to Take Part in NBA Summer League with Parent Houston Rockets

MCALLEN, TEXAS - The NBA Development League Champion Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today that Houston Rockets guard Jermaine Taylor (6-4, 210, Central Florida), who was assigned to the Vipers three times during the 2009-10 season, will play for the Rockets during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas beginning Live on NBA TV on July 9 at 5:00 p.m. against the Phoenix Suns at Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Taylor averaged 19.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.5 blocks while shooting 48% from the field in eight games (four starts) with the Vipers.
