Vipers Acquire Returning Player Rights to Kyree Walker

EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today that the Capital City Go-Go have agreed to trade the returning players rights to Kyree Walker to the Vipers. In exchange, RGV has agreed to trade its third-round pick in the 2022 NBA G League Draft. This trade is not subject to a physical.
In July 2021 Walker (6-7, 215lbs.) declared for the 2021 NBA Draft, but went undrafted. In October 2021 the California native tried out with Capital City and spent the 2021-22 campaign with the Go-Go. He averaged 8.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 13.9 minutes in 23 games.
