Santa Cruz Acquires Returning Player Rights to Tyler Hagedorn

SANTA CRUZ - The Santa Cruz Warriors have acquired the returning player rights to Tyler Hagedorn from the Maine Celtics in exchange for the returning player rights to Ryan Taylor, it was announced today. This trade is not subject to a physical.

Hagedorn (6'10", 230) appeared in 15 NBA G League games (2 starts) split between the Memphis Hustle and Maine Celtics during the 2021-22 season, averaging 6.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 19.9 minutes per game while shooting 46.6 percent from the field. The forward appeared in 2 games with the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2021-22 NBA Summer League averaging 2.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, 0.5 assists per game while shooting 66.7 percent from the field. Prior to entering the G League, Hagedorn played collegiate basketball at South Dakota (2015-20).

In 3 games (2 starts) with Santa Cruz last season, Taylor (6'5", 249) averaged 12.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 30.3 minutes per game while shooting 44.4 percent from the field. The forward played collegiate basketball at Marshall University (2013-17) prior to entering the G League.
