
Villarreal Activated From Disabled List

COMSTOCK PARK -The West Michigan Whitecaps, in conjunction with the Detroit Tigers, announced today that right-handed pitcher Brayan Villarreal has been activated from the disabled list and right-handed pitcher Luis Sanz has been transferred Short Season Oneonta's roster.
Before his trip to the disabled list, Villarreal was 1-0 with a 0.76 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 23.2 innings pitched for the Whitecaps.
Sanz, who signed with the Tigers as a non-drafted free agent in 2005, went 0-1 with an 8.64 ERA and 10 strikeouts in eight appearances with West Michigan.
