EVERETT, Wash. - Rookie Griffen Outhouse recorded his fourth shutout of the season on a 28-save effort while Tyler Soy earned a pair of goals in the third period to help the Victoria Royals get past the Everett Silvertips, 3-0 before a crowd of 7,150 at XFINITY Arena on Saturday.

Victoria extended their franchise record win streak to 11 straight games, moving to 13-0-1-0 in the last 14 games. The Silvertips dropped their third straight loss, matching a season-high, in the second meeting between the two teams.

Outhouse's counterpart, Carter Hart, was remarkable in the first 20 minutes and posted his biggest save on a two-on-one break, turning away Jack Walker's bid at the left circle. The Silvertips squandered a chance early in the second period on a five-on-three power play, and Hart followed up with a breakaway save on Soy to keep the scoreless tie intact.

Walker busted the tie on a power play goal, 11:21 of the period on a slap shot from the slot that snuck past a screened Hart. The Royals pushed the lead to 2-0 with 2:57 left in the second period when Soy streaked to the left side and deflected Vladimir Bobylev's backdoor feed past Hart's blocker.

The Silvertips outshot Victoria, 12-8 in the third period but fell short in getting back into the game with 1:30 of extra attacker time. Soy wrapped up the game by chasing a loose puck to the left circle and burying the empty netter with less than two seconds left.
