Tri-City Storm News Release
Kearney, Neb. - Tri-City Storm forward Garrett Hall has returned from an upper-body injury and is expected to make his Storm debut this weekend. Acquired off waivers on January 13, Hall played 55 games with the Youngstown Phantoms last season, notching four goals and 14 points.
"I'm excited to make my debut because it's been a long journey this year throughout surgery and rehab and I'm excited to finally be back on the ice playing again," Hall explained.
Hall last played 306 days ago against Team USA on April 9, 2016. The 19-year-old finished the Phantoms season with three points (1g, 2a) over his last five games. Hall scored his first USHL goal at Sioux Falls on October 30, 2015.
Prior to joining the USHL, Hall completed his youth hockey career with Honeybaked U18 and Little Caesars U16.
"He was a very strong player in midget hockey," said Storm Head Coach and General Manager Bill Muckalt. "We're looking forward to him contributing in Tri-City."
Hall stands 6-foot-2, 194 pounds and is a native of Troy, Michigan. The Storm has seven active players from Michigan.
