PENTICTON, BC - The Penticton Vees have signed a multi-year agreement with Vista Radio, making Summit Radio the exclusive home for all Vees games starting in the 2025-26 season.

All 68 regular season games will air live on Summit 800 AM (CKOR) in Penticton and, for the first time, on Summit 98.5 FM (CHOR) in Summerland-bringing Vees hockey to a broader audience across the South Okanagan.

"We are thrilled to extend our long-standing partnership with Summit Radio and its affiliate stations," said Chris Laurie, Senior Vice President. "Expanding our coverage to Summerland on Summit 98.5 FM is a significant step forward as we prepare for our inaugural WHL season."

The Vees will make their Western Hockey League (WHL) debut on Friday, September 19th, against the Victoria Royals on Vancouver Island. The team's highly anticipated home opener is set for Friday, September 26th, when they host the Kelowna Rockets at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Broadcaster Fraser Rodgers returns for his 10th season as the voice of the Vees, providing play-by-play coverage throughout the season. He'll be joined by Matthew Fraser, who will serve as broadcast analyst for all home games and select road matchups. Additional broadcast details will be announced closer to the start of the season.

"We're proud of the long-standing relationship between the Vees and CKOR, which dates back to 1961 when the team joined the Okanagan-Mainline Hockey League," said Ken Kilcullen, Vice President, Talent - Regional Manager, Okanagan. "Our team at Summit Radio is thrilled to continue this legacy as the Vees embark on an exciting new chapter in the WHL."

Fans can stream every game live online at www.mypentictonnow.com, www.mysummerlandnow.com, or via the iHeartRadio app.
