Vancouver Giants News Release
VANCOUVER, BC - In a continued effort to attract the very best talent to our program, the Vancouver Giants have released today a video highlighting the benefits of becoming a Vancouver Giant.
The video features commentary from some of the organization's most prominent alumni, including Milan Lucic, Evander Kane & Cody Franson, as well as messages from members of the ownership group, including Ron Toigo, Pat Quinn, and Lewis & Michael Bubl̮̩.
It showcases former Giants who have gone on to the National Hockey League, as well as those who have taken advantage of the WHL Scholarship Program upon the conclusion of their WHL careers.
The video will be made available to all current Giants prospects and to all players considering joining our program in the future.
Its release coincides with the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft, which is set to take place on Thursday, May 2 at 7:30am PDT.
The Giants have the first overall pick in this year's Bantam Draft, as well as seven more picks in the first three rounds.
