Van Hoof and Ralph Reassigned

Springfield, MA – The Springfield Falcons announced today that they reassigned defenseman Jeremy Van Hoof to the Pensacola Ice Pilots and have reassigned forward Brad Ralph to the Augusta Lynx of the East Coast Hockey League.

Van Hoof was recalled on January 23rd and played in two games with the Falcons not registering a point. Van Hoof leads all ECHL defensemen in plus/minus at a +25 rating and leads all Pensacola players in game-winning goals with four. He has four goals and four assists for eight points in 42 games with the Ice Pilots this season.

Ralph was recalled by Springfield on January 18th and played in four games with the Falcons this season registering two assists and a +2 rating. In 35 games with Augusta this season, Ralph has nine goals and 12 assists for 21 points.

The Falcons return to action on Friday night when they host the Portland Pirates at "The Nest." Springfield hosts the Providence Bruins on Saturday night with both games starting at 7:35 PM.
