ValleyCats Will Take Over Youth League Game on Saturday

TROY, NY - On Saturday, June 8, during a 7pm East Greenbush-Castleton Youth Baseball playoff game, the ValleyCats will provide pregame entertainment, ceremonial team introductions, a live performance of the national anthem, and in-game promotions including fan favorites such as the Mayors' Race, T-Shirt Tosses, Pony Hops and more.

The "Show on the Road" promotion is a partnership between the ValleyCats and Hannaford Supermarkets, to select a league that exemplifies sportsmanship both on and off the field. East Greenbush-Castleton was chosen based upon their league's commitment to providing a positive experience both on and off the field. Their dedicated group of parents and community partners support a scholarship program to teach sportsmanship and ensure that all of the children in their area have an opportunity to participate.

Hannaford Supermarkets will also be on hand to lend support in the league's concession stand and to showcase healthy food and snack options.

WHAT: The ValleyCats will put on a promotional show worthy of "The Joe" during an East Greenbush-Castleton Youth Baseball Game.

WHEN: 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

The ValleyCats will also assist in the league's year-end picnic including a Home Run Derby Contest, which begins at 5pm.
