
Utah Flash Makes Roster Moves

PROVO, Utah, Feb. 25, 2009 - The Utah Flash of the NBA Development League reacquired forward Brian Jackson and guard Ryan Diggs today. The team waived center Steve Newman and forward Eddie Ard.
Jackson was waived due to injury on Jan. 23, 2008 after suffering a torn medial collateral ligament in his right knee during the second quarter of a Jan. 17 game at Reno. The veteran forward was cleared to play by team doctors after missing the last 11 games. Diggs was waived on Feb. 21 and missed one game.
Jackson has played in and started 19 games, averaging 23.9 minutes, 6.2 points and 4.7 rebounds. Diggs has played in 24 games, averaging 12.3 minutes, 5.4 points and 1.7 assists.
Both Jackson and Diggs are expected to play when the Flash visit the Idaho Stampede Friday at Qwest Arena. Jackson will wear jersey number 32 and Diggs jersey number 7.
