Charlotte Bobcats Night Set for Saturday

Sioux Falls, S.D. (February 25, 2009) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team will host Charlotte Bobcats affiliate night at the Sioux Falls Arena on Saturday against the Colorado 14ers. The players will be outfitted in the white home uniforms of the Charlotte Bobcats which will be auctioned off for charity.

Saturday night's game, which is sponsored by Royal River Casino, will be the first of two adidas NBA Nights this season. Fans will be able to place a bid on their favorite player's uniform until the end of the third quarter. Winners of the uniforms will be announced throughout the fourth quarter of the game and all of the proceeds from the sealed bid auction will benefit the South Dakota School for the Deaf, a school that provides comprehensive evaluations in the areas of academic, social/emotional, behavioral, cognitive, transition, audiology, speech and language for children with a hearing loss.

In addition to the uniforms, Rufus, the Bobcats mascot, will be in attendance to entertain fans throughout the game and at halftime. The Skyleaders will also wear Lady Cats' uniforms and Bobcats promotional items will be given away throughout the game.

The Skyforce's next game is on Thursday, Feb. 26 on the road against the Central Division-leading Iowa Energy. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CT at Wells Fargo Arena. Twelve-ticket flex packs are on sale throughout the 2008-09 season. Discounts and benefits are also available for groups of 10 or more.
