FC Cincinnati News Release

CINCINNATI - Coming into this weekend on an 11-game unbeaten run, USL leaders FC Cincinnati return to Nippert Stadium to host Penn FC at 6 p.m. on Sunday night. The game will be televised live on WSTR 64, carried live on ESPN 1530 AM and also streamed live on ESPN+.

With no league losses in June or July, FC Cincinnati (13-3-6, 45 pts.) has risen to the top of not just the Eastern Conference standings - where they've sat for 14 of the last 15 weeks - but also lead the entire USL table, one point ahead of Western Conference leaders Real Monarchs SLC (14-5-2, 44 pts.) The Orange and Blue continue to lead the USL Eastern Conference following Saturday's draw with Nashville SC, 1-1.

Penn FC (6-7-8, 26 pts.) enters the match in 13th place in the Eastern Conference. On Friday, Penn FC fell on the road to New York Red Bulls II, 2-1.

A win or draw on Sunday would push Cincinnati's unbeaten run to 12 games and match the club record for games unbeaten, which was originally established in its inaugural season in 2016.

Following Saturday's match against Penn FC, FC Cincinnati will conclude its six-match USL homestand on Saturday, August 18, when the team hosts Charleston Battery at Nippert Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for that game are available at fccincinnati.com/tickets or by calling 513-977-KICK (5425).
