PRINCE GEORGE, BC- The Prince George Cougars continue their eight-game home stand this weekend, as they welcome Taylor Gauthier and the Portland Winterhawks to the CN Centre.
It's an action-packed weekend! Friday is our Canadian Mental Health Association "Talk Today" night with the Northern B.C. chapter of the CMHA. Saturday is Mardi Gras night, which includes our second Mega 50/50 Jackpot of the season, courtesy of Wood Wheaton Supercentre.
Also, two-time Olympic Snowboard Cross bronze medalist and Prince George product, Meryeta O'Dine, will be on hand Saturday for a special pre-game ceremonial puck drop.

Friday, Feb 25 vs. Portland
WHL Talk Today Game night sponsored by RE/MAX and the Canadian Mental Health Association of Northern B.C.
CMHA of Northern B.C. will be raffling off a team-signed Cougars jersey. All proceeds from the jersey raffle go back to the local chapter of the CMHA to help people in our community.
1st Intermission: CMHA Bounce Back
A select number of fans will have a chance to compete in the CMHA of Northern B.C.'s "Bounce Back" game, with a chance of winning a Self-Care package, which includes Mr. Mike's gift cards, Epson salts, and tea courtesy of the CMHA of Northern B.C.
2nd Intermission: MNP Chuck-A-Puck
Chuck-A-Pucks can be purchased in Section 'U' with the winner receiving a RE/MX swag bundle and a Cougars team-signed jersey, courtesy of RE/MAX. The runner up will receive a $100 pre-paid Visa card courtesy of MNP.
Saturday, Feb 26 vs. Portland
Mardi Gras night sponsored by TELUS
Ceremonial puck drop with Meryeta O'Dine and local cheer group, featuring Rotary and the Prince George Community Foundation (PGCF).
Throughout the concourse local groups, including GameQuest, the UNBC Nerdy Gaming Club, and Telus will be running interactive games, with prizing for fans who participate.
Special food and drink options will be available.
Wood Wheaton Mega 50/50 Jackpot
One lucky fan will win a minimum of $30,000 in our second Mega 50/50 Jackpot of the season, courtesy of Wood Wheaton Supercentre.
Proceeds from the Mega 50/50 jackpot will go towards the new proposed multi-sport family adventure park, being planned by the PGCF and Rotary.
TELUS Swag Toss
During the first period, lucky fans will have a chance of walking away with some free TELUS swag.
1st Intermission:
Autograph Signing- Meryeta O'Dine
During the 1st intermission in Section 'U,' Meryeta O'Dine will be signing autographs.
Build-A-Sub
Two fans will have a chance to compete in our "Build-A-Sub" for a chance to win Tim Horton's gift cards.
