
Unique Giveaways Highlight K-Tribe Homestand

KINSTON - As summer slips away, there are just a few more chances to see the 2008 Kinston Indians as their second to last homestand of the season kicks off on Thursday! The K-Tribe kicks off the homestand on a Thirsty Thursday with a refreezable pint glass giveaway. Sponsored by Coors and WSFL, the one of a kind item will be given out to the first 1,000 fans ages 21 and up. $1 beverages will also be featured as Kinston takes on the Salem Avalanche, first pitch 7pm.
The fun continues on Friday, as Kinston features their second to last Fireworks Extravaganza of 2008, game time 7pm. Saturday features another unique giveaway as the first 1,000 fans receive rally towels sponsored by King Tiger Tae Kwon Do and WITN. Saturday is also BB&T Triple Play Night where one lucky fan could win $100,000 if the K-Tribe turns a Triple Play. Sunday, August 10th is Pepsi Family Fun Day as Kinston takes on Salem at 2pm in an afternoon matinee. Every Sunday, select K-Tribe players are available for autographs before the game. After the game, kids get to run the bases.
Monday, August 11th, is Buck Night with $1 hot dogs, fries, 12 oz beers and sodas as the Lynchburg Hillcats invade Grainger Stadium. Game time 7pm. On Tuesday the homestand continues with Senior Night. All fans 55 or over get a voucher for a free hot dog, game time 7pm! The homestand concludes on Wednesday, August 13th with Military Appreciation night. The 7pm start features free admission to all military and their families.
Reserved seat tickets start at just $4 for students, seniors and the military. General Public reserved seats are just $6. General Admission is just $5. Tuesday, August 12th - 7pm - Senior Night! - Free Hotdogs for Seniors!
Wednesday, August 13th - 7pm - Military Appreciation Night! - Free Admission for Military (active and retired) and their families!
