MONTCLAIR, Nj. - The Philadelphia Union II took on New York Red Bulls II on the road, Wednesday night, that ended with a score of 6-0. The New York Red Bulls II took control of the game with a hat trick by Omar Sowe and a brace by Caden Clark. Union II will be away this Saturday, September 12th at Loudoun United FC at Segra Field, (6:30 p.m. ET /ESPN+).

TEAM NOTES:
Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Matt Freese made his second USL Championship start in goal for Union II in 2020 and the 10th USL start in his career. Freese last played in the club's season opener back on March 7 against Loudoun United FC and earned a clean sheet.
Defender Nathan Harriel also returned to the Starting XI at right back. The future Union homegrown made his fifth start for Union II and his first since July 25th at Hartford Athletic.
Fellow future Union homegrown Jack McGlynn returned to the starting XI against Red Bulls II. McGlynn had a breakout performance in his last start against the club, scoring his first professional goal and an assist in the 3-2 win back on August 5th.
Union Academy member Jack Jasinski made his second start of the USL Championship season.
