FC Tulsa to Celebrate 918 Day at Home Match on Saturday, September 12

September 9, 2020 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
FC Tulsa News Release

TULSA - For FC Tulsa, 918 Day is moving to September 12. The club's primetime rivalry against OKC Energy FC at home on Saturday will feature multiple community organizations and one hot new merch item at ONEOK Field. Originally scheduled to play at home on September 18, FC Tulsa will have to settle for celebrating the city holiday a bit early with a rescheduled shortened season changing the dates due to the pandemic.

Before the match, FC Tulsa will be hosting a Blood Drive alongside the Oklahoma Blood Institute outside ONEOK Field. From 2-6:30 p.m. on matchday, the OBI bus will be parked on N. Elgin Ave. for fans to donate blood and receive a free piece of FC Tulsa swag.

Bring your canned goods and teddy bears to donate as FC Tulsa is partnering with the University of Tulsa. Fans will be able to make a difference in the Tulsa community through food and stuffed animal donations to those in need.

Upon entering the gates, fans will notice a difference around the ONEOK Field concourse as FC Tulsa is partnering with Mayfest and ahha Tulsa to debut the Mayfest Art Market. With Tulsa's premier art festival having to be cancelled earlier this year, FC Tulsa will provide local artists that would have participated in Mayfest a chance to showcase and sell their work around the concourse. Don't miss the FC Tulsa merch stands as the club will feature a brand-new throwback Roughnecks scarf and pennant. Harkening back to the 1970s Tulsa Roughnecks, the knit scarf and wall pennant will feature the old Roughnecks branding.
