Memphis 901 FC News Release

MEMPHIS, Tennessee - Sporting Director Tim Howard and Head Coach Tim Mulqueen announced on Tuesday that defender Jacob Hauser-Ramsey will rejoin Memphis 901 FC for the remainder of the 2020 season pending league and federation approval.

"He [Hauser-Ramsey] is very familiar, playing with us last year, and we are delighted to have him back," Mulqueen said.

Hauser-Ramsey, the 42nd overall pick in the 2019 MLS Super Draft, spent half the season with Memphis in 2019. He made appearances in 14 games, with 11 starts totaling 964 minutes. A physical central defender, Hauser-Ramsey made 13 tackles and 48 clearances.

"He is a physical player who pairs well with the defenders we have now," Mulqueen said. "We expect him to help us out a lot in this last month of the season."

Hauser-Ramsey joins Memphis as they prepare for a three-match road trip starting Thursday, Sept 10 against North Carolina FC. Memphis currently sits in fourth place within Group G, 11 points out of playoff contention.
