UHL releases 2005-06 regular season schedule

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- The United Hockey League (UHL) released Wednesday the game schedule for the 2005-06 regular season which was approved by the UHL Board of Governors during the 2005 Annual Meeting. The 15th UHL season will open on Friday, October 21st, 2005 and concludes on Saturday, April 15th, 2006.

A total of 532 games will be played in the 2005-06 season with each Member Club playing 76 games (38 home, 38 road). 83% of the league contests will be played on the weekend.

All 14 Member Clubs will take the ice during the opening weekend of the 2005-06 season. The expansion Port Huron Flags will face off with the Danbury Trashers on Friday, October 21st, and the 2005 Colonial Cup Champion Muskegon Fury will begin their title defense on Saturday, October 22nd vs. the Elmira Jackals.
