UHL Releases 2004-05 Schedule

PORT HURON, MI- The Port Huron Beacons of the United Hockey League (UHL) announce today that the 2004-05 schedule has been released.

The Beacons schedule features 33 of the teams 40 home games on the weekend. Of those 33 weekend games nine are on Saturdays, another nine on Sundays and 11 on Fridays.

The Beacons open the season on the road in Richmond for games on the 15th and 16th of October. The home opener is Friday October 22nd versus the Fort Wayne Komets.

The schedule also features new divisional match-ups with the other four Michigan teams that make up the new Central Division. The Flint Generals, the Kalamazoo Wings, the expansion Motor City Mechanics and the Defending Colonial Cup Champion Muskegon Fury. Of the teams 80 game schedule, 32 of those are against the Michigan teams. Complete breakdown of the Beacons schedule is below; teams in the Central (Michigan) Division are in Bold.
