U.S. WNT and North Carolina Courage Midfielder McCall Zerboni Suffers Broken Elbow

Cary, N.C. - United States and North Carolina Courage Midfielder McCall Zerboni suffered a broken left elbow early in the United States match against Chile on Sept. 4 in San Jose, Calif., and will miss the remainder of the NWSL season.

Zerboni, who last year became the oldest player to earn a cap with the U.S. Women's National Team, played in seven games for the United States this year and was making her second career start in the game.

The San Clemente, Calif. native has been instrumental in helping the NC Courage capture the second consecutive NWSL shield, appearing in 20 games and recording three goals and one assist in 2018.

The NC Courage return to action this Saturday, September 8, in their regular season finale against the Houston Dash. The match will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and is the nightcap of the first ever professional soccer doubleheader in the Triangle. For tickets and information please visitwww.NCCourage.com.
