ITHACA, N.Y. - Jeremy Morin (Auburn, N.Y.) tallied two goals in the third period, including the game-tying marker, as the U.S. National Under-18 Team played to a 3-3 draw against Cornell University here tonight at Lynah Rink.

After a scoreless first period, Kevin Lynch (Grosse Pointe, Mich.) sent a cross-crease pass to David Valek (Orem, Utah) who put the puck past netminder Ben Scrivens at the 11:45 mark of the second stanza. Cornell's Riley Nash answered back with a power-play goal just 1:43 later to even the score, 1-1.

Morin gave Team USA its second lead of the game with a power-play tally 3:54 into the third frame. The goal came after Chris Brown (Flower Mound, Texas) fed the puck to Morin who faked a shot and fired the puck past Big Red netminder Mike Garman from the middle slot. Tyler Roeszler tied the game, 2-2, at 7:36. Cornell took its first lead of the game after Tyler Mugford's shorthanded marker at 15:41. Just 31 seconds later, Morin picked up the puck and ripped a low shot from the top of the faceoff circle to make it 3-3.

Neither team was able to find the game-winner in overtime.

U.S. netminder Adam Murray (Anchorage, Alaska) made 29 saves, including 11 in the third period and one in overtime.

The U.S. National Under-18 Team heads to Michigan's Upper Peninsula next weekend for a pair of NCAA Division I tilts. On Friday (October 24), Team USA will travel to Houghton, Mich., to take on Michigan Tech University of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association at 7:07 p.m. ET. The U.S. then heads to Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., on Sunday (October 26) to play Lake Superior State University of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association at 1:05 p.m. ET.
