U.S. Army Pre-Game Camo Jersey Auction Raises $20,250 for the Active 20/30 Club

This Week in Condorstown:

Wednesday, April 18th: Condors Community Relations Manager Jill Watts will attend a meeting for Jr. Achievement at 8 a.m. to help plan a charity bowling tournament.The funds will go towards enhancing the lives of the youth in Kern County. Stay tuned for updates regarding the event's date and time.

Thursday, April 19th: Condors player Alex Rogosheske will be live on KGET-TV 17 News At Sunrise at 6:40 a.m. to discuss the team's strategy for knocking the Fresno Falcons out of the first round of playoffs. In addition, Rogosheske will show off the Condors rally towel that will be given away to all fans who attend that game that night, courtesy of KGET-TV 17 and Goodwill Industries.

Thursday, April 19th: Listen to the Condors Coach's Show on KGEO Hot Talk AM 1230 at 6 p.m. or live inside the Holliday Inn Select's Q. Street Lounge, located at 801 Truxtun Ave. This special broadcast will lead into the pre- game show beginning at 6:45 p.m. and will cover news from the ECHL about the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Voice of the Condors Jake Stevens and special guest Rick Dames will interview Condors coaches and players.

Thursday, April 19th: The Condors will battle the Fresno Falcons in Game 6 of the first round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs. All fans in attendance will receive a Condors Rally Towel, courtesy of Goodwill Industries and KGET-TV 17, and be able to have their nightly notes signed by Rane Carnegie and Steve Gillen at the Holiday Inn Select autograph booth, located on the concourse behind section 108.

During the 1st intermission there will be a special "Swearing-In" ceremony held at center ice to welcome the new U.S. Army enlistees from Kern County. Come out to the game and support the Condors all the way to the Kelly Cup Championship and your troops! Doors open at 6 p.m. Puck drops at 7 p.m.

Friday, April 20th: If the Condors fall short to the Falcons on Thursday, Game 7 will be played Friday at 7 p.m. All fans in attendance will receive a glow shaker, courtesy of Goodwill Industries and KGET-TV 17, and will have the opportunity to visit Condors players Kevin Truelson and Sheldon Wing at the Holiday Inn Select Autograph booth. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Week In Review:

Friday, April 13th: The Condors closed the bidding for their U.S. Army Pre-game Camo Jersey Auction to benefit the Active 20/30 Club. The event raised a new silent auction record of $20,250, which will be distributed to the youth of Kern County. The highest bid of the night went to Andrew Oke's jersey for $2,700, followed by Todd Griffith's for $1,700. This season alone Jersey Off Our Back Auctions have raised $98,200 and $411,937 has been raised from jersey auctions since the 1998-99 season.

Saturday, April 14th: Condors mascot Baby Cal helped kick-off Friday Night Live's 24 Hour Relay. The relay consisted of more than 30 teams walking or running laps to raise funds for youth involvement programs in Kern County.
