Condors Can Eliminate Falcons Thursday At The Nest

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors are one win away from eliminating the Fresno Falcons from the Kelly Cup playoffs thanks to their 4-2 victory in Fresno last night. The Condors now lead the National Conference Quarterfinals 3 games to 2, with game 6 this Thursday, April 19 in Condorstown! If Fresno wins Thursday they will force Game 7 Friday night, April 20 at The Nest. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m. for both games. Should the Condors win and advance to the National Conference Semi- finals, they will face the Alaska Aces beginning April 23.

Thursday is Rally Towel Giveaway and all fans in attendance will receive a Condors rally towel. Friday, all fans in attendance will receive a glow shaker. The first round is sponsored by KGET-TV 17 and Goodwill Industries.

On Thursday, U.S. Marine Evan Morgan will take part in the ceremonial puck drop at the start of the game. Morgan lost part of both legs and sight in one eye in an explosion in Iraq.

After Thursday's game stop by the Holiday Inn Select Autograph Booth located on the concourse behind section 108 and get your Nightly Notes signed by Rane Carnegie and Steve Gillen. After Friday's game stop by the booth to have your souvenir program signed by Kevin Truelson and Sheldon Wing.

Playoff tickets for Games 6 and 7 are sale now and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, by phone at 322-2525 or at any Ticketmaster location. Season tickets for 2007-08 are also available at the Condors office located at 1001 Truxtun Avenue or by calling 324-PUCK (7825).
