Pensacola Ice Pilots News Release
PENSACOLA, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced today (Tuesday) that the ECHL Board of Governors approved the final plan submitted by Mario Forgione, CEO of Henley Sports, to play hockey in Pensacola for the 2007-2008 season.
"This announcement would not have been possible without the support of George Touart, the County Commissioners and all the Ice Pilots fans," said Forgione. "It was imperative to continue the tradition of hockey in the Gulf Coast"
In addition to Forgione's plan, the team submitted playing dates for the upcoming 12th season.
The Ice Pilots organization has aggressively begun season ticket and corporate sponsorship renewals. For ticket information call 432-PUCK.
